Federico Fellini, the famous Italian film director, once said that "a different language is a different vision of life". By teaching Australians to speak and understand Italian, our goal is to create a vibrant Italian culture within Brisbane that embraces the Italian appreciation of life and enriches all that is great about Australian culture in a globalised world.
At Scuola da Vinci, we believe that language learning is a community effort. Our students have the opportunity to practice their language skills with fellow learners in a supportive and inclusive environment. Through an appreciation of the Italian language, we come to fully appreciate the culinary, cultural and lifestyle choices that make Italian dolce vita.
To bring the creativity and vibrancy of Italian culture south of the Brisbane River, bringing together a community of Italianophiles who wish to get closer to the Italian experience through a deeper understanding of the language. As the German philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein famously said the "The limits of my language mean the limits of my world."
